Chapter is thrilled to welcome June Jones to the roster with new single Good Girl.

June is a Sydney based alt-pop singer, songwriter, producer, and shapeshifter. We have been fans of her music for years but were completely swept away by her deep, gorgeous and irresistible 2022 album Pop Music For Normal Women.

June says “I'm really excited to be releasing my new music through Chapter – a label whose catalogue I have been listening to since I was in high school. After opting to self-release all of my own music until now, I feel extremely grateful to find a label that my new songs can call home. I'm also heartened that Ben and Guy are so encouraging of my urge to lean further into the horny dance pop direction that I'm drawn to at the moment.”

Good Girl is first evidence of this new direction – June’s most daring, direct and pop-facing track yet. “I was listening to a lot of Charli XCX when I was making Good Girl,” says June, “and I think my love for her music is what allowed me to write a chorus like this one, which leans into the part of me that does kinda just wanna be this hot femme object of queer desire.”

The track is co-mixed with rising producer Lucy Blomkamp, who June met in Sydney earlier this year at an APRA Pride Songhubs workshop curated by Troye Sivan.
